Dear family,
A blessed Advent to you. Each January, the Church calls us to remember and defend the dignity of every human life, from conception to natural death. The March for Life in Washington, D.C. is not simply a trip—it is a pilgrimage. It is a public witness to the Gospel of Life, a chance to stand together in prayer and solidarity, and a way to give voice to those who cannot speak for themselves.
This year, our Mt. Carmel, St. Adalbert, and St. Paul the Apostle Youth Ministry team will once again sponsor a bus pilgrimage on Friday, January 23, 2026. We invite you — of all ages — to join us in this important mission. By traveling together, we encourage our youth to see that faith is lived not only in church on a Sunday but also in the public square.
Did you know the best price for a one-day bus pilgrimage to Washington, D.C. is $5,800? Last year, each seat was $100. Through your generous donations for our pilgrimage throughout 2025, we can reduce the cost of each seat:
– $75 per person (check or cash)
– $79 per person (credit card)
Let us do what we can to fill our bus and spread the word about our trip. If you are unable to make the trip, you can still support our pilgrims by sending an offering to St. Paul the Apostle Parish. (Please mark this gift as “St. Paul Respect Life.”) Your gift helps ensure that others, especially our young, can take part in this powerful witness.
For more information or to register, please contact our Youth Minister, Katie Grogan, at Grogan.K@tiucatholic.org or by calling her at extension 106 at our parish office telephone number. You can also find further details in this bulletin.
Let us go forward together, confident in our Lord’s promise: “Thus says the LORD who made you, your help, who formed you from the womb…I will pour out water upon the thirsty ground, streams upon the dry land; I will pour out my spirit upon your offspring, my blessing upon your descendants” (Isaiah 44:2-3).
God’s peace,
Fr. Frisoni
